MULTIMET Alloy
MULTIMET ALLOY DISTRIBUTOR IN THE USA
Ratnam Steel is a distributor of various MULTIMET Alloy in any size or form per specifications as noted below. MULTIMET Alloy is commonly used in high stress applications with temperatures up to 1500°F and moderate stresses up to 2,000°F. MULTIMET Alloy can be forged, machined and cold-formed by conventional methods and can be welded by various arc and resistance-welding processes. When MULTIMET Alloy is solution heat treated, this alloy has about the same resistance as Stainless Steel does to nitric acid. This alloy has been used in a variety of applications such as exhaust manifolds, combustion chambers, turbine blades, tailpipes and tail cones, and nozzles. Check availability with our sales department to see if Ratnam Steel can provide your MULTIMET Alloy metal requirement.
